A Couple of Exchanges to Share

I participated in a Secret Sisters Christmas Exchange that was on the Legacy Board. I had Valeri's name and just heard that she received my package.

I sent Valeri the Holiday box of DMC Floss, a thread counter, a package of needles, thread heaven, a snowman photo holder (which makes a great pattern holder) and a sample of gloves in a bottle. It sounds like she was pleased with it.

Over on the Make A Wish, Amy wished for a smalls done in redwork. I chose to do a biscornu. I stitched the February Heart from "A Prairie Year" by Prairie Schooler. I had to adjust the pattern a little to make room for the button. It is stitched on 28ct. Antique White Lugana with DMC Variations #4210. I was very pleased in how it turned out.

Well, that is all I have for now. I need to go do some serious stitching.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

A Gift from a Secret Stitcher

I participated in the Christmas Secret Stitcher exchange over on the Legacy Board and today I received mine.

Denise (stitch and run) was my secret stitcher and she did a super job on my exchange. She sent me 2 ornaments, one of which is a pair of old time ice skates. Coming from a hockey family, they are so perfect, and how cute. She also sent me 5 skeins of Silk N' Colors in very yummy colors, 2 Loose Feathers patterns, a very generous piece of 30ct. Old Mill Java R&R linen and some yummy chocolates.

Thank you Denise! What fun!

We are to get another snowstorm starting about midnight and into tomorrow so I just came back from Joann's to get my weekly fix in case the driving is bad tomorrow. I was soooooo relieved to see that the VALENTINES are out already! LOL! OMG!

Well, I better get back to my stitching. I have LOTS to do!
