A Pinkeep for Suzanne

I had Suzanne for the Friends Through Threads Pinkeep Exchange. After studying her blog I came to the conclusion that she really likes Blackbird Designs. I decided to stitch a portion of "Pins & Tulips Pincushion".

I was pleased with how it turned out and it sounds like Suzanne like it too!

On a non-stitching note...

I went to the grocery store yesterday to find a wonderful surprise.

This is my absolute favorite coffee creamer and was only available at Christmas time. But not anymore...it is available year-round now! Woot!

Thank you for all the wonderful comments on my CaHRH and my PIFs that I sent out. I appreciate them. Have a great day and Happy Stitching!

Butterfly Wings

I finished my next Pink Stitch last night and just did the finishing on it. It is Butterfly Wings by Brooke's Books Publishing and finishing it as a pinkeep. Once again, I did not follow the fiber list that is on the pattern. It calls for mostly Silk Mori, which I substituted DMC Floss and added an DMC Variation and an Anchor Marlitt. Oh, and it had silk ribbon embroidery on it, which I substituted buttons. I like it.

Have a great day!

Marika Finally Received Her Garden Theme Exchange

I found out this morning that Marika received her Garden Theme Exchange that I sent.

I stitched the Lizzie Kate June Flip It and made a pinkeep. I also sent her a few goodies.

I'm so glad that Marika liked her exchange!

I Received My HOE Pinkeep Exchange

After a not-so-great day at work, I had a nice surprise in my mailbox when I got home. It was a very cute pinkeep stitched by Jen R. It is just perfect and I love it!

Jen also sent some dark chocolate dipped peppermint altoids and 3 skeins of crescent colours, all in my favorite, purple! They are beautiful.

Thank you Jen R.

HOE Pinkeep Exchange

I received word today that Mylene from the Netherlands received her pinkeep that I had sent her. Her computer broke down and she left a comment on my blog.

Her pinkeep is a LHN design, however, I changed my bunny to a purple peacock, of course!

Here is a picture of the whole package that I sent her.
