Joe Mauer, Our All-Star

Being the avid Minnesota Twins fan my son is, I was interrupted this afternoon from my stitching/finishing to sew an all-star patch on his Minnesota Twins Joe Mauer jersey. Joe Mauer was elected by the people to be the starting catcher in the All-Star Game this coming Tuesday which will be at Yankee Stadium in New York.




You see, Joe is not just our hometown hero, we have a little bit of a connection. My youngest brother, Gene, was his little league coach.
