Here is what the whole piece looks like so far.
You pick your own colors for this SAL and at first I wasn't sure but now it slowly seems to be coming together. I love the pulled and drawn threads. That is probably one of my most favorite things to do. A funny thing I noticed...as you finish these parts you can send a picture to the designer and they post them on their website. I noticed not very many people were putting the beads on. I wonder why?
That's it for now. Today I am starting a KAL (knit-a-long) for a mystery summer shawl. I am excited.

Your round the world looks great Jill I like the colors you choose. I haven't started mine but I do have my colors picked out. Oh well one day my to do pile will be empty.

Just saw yesterday's and today's post. Whoever heard of a rockin stitching station? That is the coolest thing ever! And it's posted on the Samplers and Santas site now. The SAL is BEAUTIFUL! Love your choice in colors. The stitching diversity makes that piece just stand out, doesn't it?

Your SAL piece is looking amazing! I love specialty stitches, and seeing your progress pictures is giving me the urge to start this, but a new project is the last thing I need!
