A Pink Pagoda

I have wanted to stitch one of these Pagoda Pincushions for quite some time now. I decided to do it as my pink stitch for January.

This is stitched on 32ct Jobelan that was home-dyed. If I were to do another one I would go with 28ct. It was a little tricky doing the final finishing. It probably would be a little easier if it was just a bit bigger. I used DMC Variegated #99 and a Dinky Dyes silk. Unfortunately I lost the tag for the Dinky Dyes. Anyway, I love it. It was very fun to stitch. This pattern in from the Gift of Stitching, March 2009.

Thank you to everyone for stopping by and the comments that have been left. Many of you have left very kind and comforting words over the holidays and I appreciate all of them. Hugs to all of you.

Happy Stitching,

This is so beautiful! I have been cross stitching for a few years now and I want to start making my projects a bit more difficult. I am hoping to be stitching projects such as the ones that you post and many other bloggers.

Wow that's bright. A great finish for these dark, gloomy days of winter.
