Weekend Update

I wanted to do this last night but got home too late from my weekly dinner for my parents.

On Saturday, I received my Autumn Fair Squares from Stephanie. She stitched "Fall Squared" by Lizzie Kate. They are very cute. Thank you Stephanie!

I guess it was a "scissor" kind of a weekend. I got the 2 new Gingher scissors, Roberta and Sarah. My BFF, Joan, got the Sarah's for me at Joann's and she got the Roberta's thru Carol and Mike's online store.

Then, on Sunday, I went to my sisters, and she gave me these:

I was hoping to have my next pink stitch done, but hopefully tomorrow. I also have 3 exchanges I have to get out by Wednesday. Everything is done, I just have to put each of them together.

A funny thing happened to me on Saturday night. I was busy stitching away when the floor lamp I was using started blinking off and on. Hmmmmm, it puzzled me. I checked to make sure that it was fully plugged in and it was. However, it kept going off and on. I unplugged it and plugged it into another outlet. Same thing--off and on. Being the smart girl I am, I went to my closet to get the brand new extra bulb I bought a few months back. Put it in, plugged it back into the original outlet and voila'--I was back in business. Boy, was I glad I had that bulb. However, I do have another floor lamp, 2 table top lights and 1 that clips on the headboard of my bed. I could never be without a stitching light!

Well, that's it for today. Have a good one.

Exchanges Delivered

I heard from Stephanie today who received her Fair Square Autumn Exchange squares that I sent to her. The design I stitched, is from BrightNeedle "Season Petites".

I was surprised, it only took 1 week for these to get to the UK.

I also heard from Elizabeth today. She received her Halloween ornament for the All Seasons Ornament Exchange. Unfortunately, this was my second one that I sent to Elizabeth. The first is MIA. I was pretty much told by the post office that it just disappeared.

The design I stitched is by Erica Michaels, called "A Slice of Jack". I have had this pattern for a very long time and didn't have a picture. So it was kind of fun to stitch this up and see its progress.

I had to borrow Elizabeth's pic as I forgot to take one of my own.
