First, I received my SBEBB Think Pink Exchange from Alison. This turned out to be a "true" exchange as I had Alison and she had me! LOL!
Anyway, Alison stitched a very cute fob, "Keep A Happy Heart" by Shepherd's Bush. It is stuff with fiberfill (I think), but there is some kind of a weight in there too. She attached a very cute pink scissors to it.

I also received my HoE Prairie School Exchange today from Margie. Margie stitched a design from "A Farmers Almanac" and finished it as a pin/needle cushion. It is filled with 100% emery. It is just so very cool and I love it!
Margie also sent lots of goodies! Some DMC Variations (my favorite colors), purple tassels (can't wait to use these), a variety of shell buttons, silver metallic pins, a purple notebook, a Stone & Thread pattern "Snowflake Mitten" and some 32ct. Silkweaver Linen in a very luscious purple.
Thank you Margie. I love everything!

I also received my Halloween Fair Squares from Missy Ann. She stitched a Brightneedle design called "Hatz Bootique". They are very cute! I really enjoyed received something other than the traditional "pumpkin".
I just love these squares and can't wait to have a "finishing day". Thank you Missy!

Missy and I also did like a private exchange and I received that today as well. She sent me 2 patterns from The Yankee Stitcher, "A Prickle of Porcupines" and "An Ostentation of Peacocks". They are both very cool. She also sent me a pincushion (which she made herself) (zoom in on the pic-it is an eyeball), several different ribbons on a floss ring, some wax lips (boy, I haven't seen these in years!), a iron-on wearable designer spider and 3 fat quarters of cotton (which came from her LQS) from a line called "Fairy Frost". All of this came in a cute little container.
I absolutely love all of it. Thank you Missy!

I still have a couple of exchanges that are somewhere out there waiting to be received. I'm afraid one of them has gone AWOL. The USPS is currently investigating it. However, I'm afraid I might have to re-create something. :( This hasn't happened to me before and I am wondering how I trust the USPS from now on.
I have decided to "Stitch Pink" during the month of October. I joined Becky's "When Pink Matters" blog. I am going to be honoring my friend, Shari, who is bravely battling breast cancer again. I have cut back on exchanges to free up some time and this just seems right for me to do.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! :)
