I just finished this 1797 Ship Sampler from Barrick Samplers. This is a little birthday gift for my hubby as he loves sailing, ships, etc. However, when I saw this, I fell in love with it and had to stitch it.
Some of the lines on the ship look a little wonky, but when I stretch and frame it they will tighten right up.
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Stitching :)

What a beautiful sampler. Your DH is lucky to receive such a treasure:) I'll have you know I've been looking for the Glory House chart. I loved it when I saw you stitched it on your last post. love Annette
Wonderful finish! Are you going to frame it?
Simply beautiful, Jill! :)
HAPPY DANCE and Congratulations on your finish (love the colors in this one).

I love your finish. Great design for your DH.
Love it, Jill. It really is quite perfect. The ship is wonderful-- I just love the flag flapping, but the row houses are my favorite. They just look so absolutely perfect.
Congrats -- to you and to the lucky hubby.
Great job Jill! Your needle must of been flying. I know your hubby will love it.
happy stitching...

I saw the finish on Facebook Samplers Group and loved it, great job! I think this is one of the forgotten about charts that is really a stunner.
