This and That

Have you ever had a sore thumb from stitching where the needle was actually putting holes in it? Just in the past few days this has happened to me. I think it is from using a fine needle (#28)  for the last couple of projects. I have had to put a band aid on it when stitching. ouch!

I am having to do some secret stitching so I can't share pics yet. I have one done, my Fair Squares, which are going out today. I have to work on my birthday exchange now as I need to get it out in the next week.

I did have a finish over the weekend. "Betsy" from Sheepish Designs. This pattern had been on my wishlist FOREVER, and when a very nice blogger friend came forward willing to let me use her pattern, I had to say YES!!!

Isn't it bee-u-tiful! I am soooo loving it! It is on home-dyed 40ct. linen (1 over 2). I am undecided on how to finish it so it might be awhile. I am so grateful for being able to stitch this. Thank you so much my friend!

I have soooo many things I want to stitch. There just isn't enough time. :(

That's all I have today. Thanks for stopping by and I appreciate all the wonderful comments.

Have a great week!

Beautiful finish!!! I love this one.
Sorry to hear about your stitching finger issue. It sounds painful.
Have a great week!

Yes! to the holey thumb. I used a tiny piece of medical tape--the kind that holds on gauze bandages--to cover the hole until it heals, because it's very painful, but I find a bandage too unwieldy.

I love your Betsy--I've got it in my stash, and I can't seem to get time for it!

I know what you mean about there never being enough time to stitch!! I love your finish so much! Betsy looks wonderful and I can't wait to see how you finish her off.

Ouch on the finger! I've done that a couple times and I know that it hurts like heck!

Your Betsy looks fantastic!

I hope the 'hole' in your finger heals soon. That's gotta be painful!

Darn pesky sore thumbs getting in the way of our stitching! Your finished piece is very pretty. I don't think I'd ever seen it before....
