A Fun Finish and a Great Mail Day!

I saw a very cute idea over on Marie's blog some time ago and have wanted to do it. I finally found the doll and stitched it up. I did ask Marie if she didn't mind if I borrowed her idea.

This was so fast and FUN! I am going to find more of these dolls to do more like this. This one will be a Christmas gift.

I received a wonderful package in the mail today from my stitching friend, CathyB. It as a lovely birthday present.

It is a pincushion in an old mason jar lid with a piece of her mother's tatting on top. I love the bright colors! It is very pretty! Thank you Cathy!

I also received the long awaited Part 1 of the La-D-Da Sampler, which I had ordered quite awhile ago...way before I swore to stitch from my stash only. I already have started and can't wait to see how this progresses!

That's it for today. Thanks for stopping by.
Thanks for all the wonderful comments I have received on previous posts.

Happy Stitching!

How cool -- a great idea.... and some lovely stitching and presents.

I can't wait to see your La-D-Da progress -- mind you I'm convinced that you'll have it done by the end of the week. :)

I love your turkey. I especially like the twisted cording you used around the edge, very nice.

ROFLOL at that dolly! She's wickedly cute!
