SAL Update and a Finish

Part 3 of the iStitch SAL was sent on Saturday morning. If you want to see a picture you will have to go to Carol's blog. I don't know how to make pictures unclickable and the one I got back from her doesn't seem to work anymore. Very frustrated with this :(

The last time I went to my LNS, there was a new design that they already had stitched up. I absolutely fell in love with it and had to have it. I started it almost right away and finished it up this past weekend.

All Hallow's Eve
Chessie & Me
36ct. Vintage Sand Dune
DMC as charted/Belle Soie Tortoise Shell/WDW Pumpkin
Date Started Stitching: 8/29/2011
Date Finished Stitching: 9/9/2011
Date Completed: 9/11/2011

I so love this piece! This picture surely is not like the real thing. I thought I had a frame that would work for this but it was just a little small. So, I decided to make it into a pinkeep and am very pleased.

On quite a different note...I don't usually "toot my own horn", however, I am just thrilled to have received an e-mail from the designer of the hardanger-a-long that I participated in. She said that mine was the most beautiful one she has seen. WOW! That sure made my day.

Off to get more projects in order. Have a great week and Happy Stitching!

Wonderful job on the Chessie and Me piece. It looks great finished as a pin keep.

Congratulations on the kudos for your hardanger piece.

I love your finish! That is such a cute design and your finishing is perfect! Thank goodness I don't live near a LNS....I wouldn't be able to eat!!!!

Your hardanger piece was beautiful so you deserve the kudos!

Lovely finish!
And your HAL is spectacular! You deserve all the praise.
(Also if you don't toot your own horn how are we supposed to know and be admiring?)

No wonder you got the compliment - your hardanger finishing is gorgeous. Your new fall piece is well done, too.
