Just For Me

Hello Friends...I hope everyone is having great spring weather like we are here. It has been quite nice.

After I stitched that Hardanger Cloth for Joan, I told myself that I am going to do something for myself next. I decided on a CA Wells piece.

Here is what it looked like earlier today.

Her pieces are so beautiful but it is amazing how much work they are. I spent a good part of the day putting it together.

I am so glad to have this piece done and am very happy with the results. Now I have to "regroup" and decide what to work on next!

So...what about these Gingher Charlene's? It seems there is something peculiar about these. They don't seem to be as readily available as others have. When I got my 4" pair at Joann's, they did not have any of the 8". However, they did have both on-line. Since they were 50% off, I decided I needed an 8" too--besides, they are purple. But by Sunday, the 4" were no longer on-line.

Well, that's all I got for now. Have a great rest of the weekend!

I managed to get a pair of the 4' at my local Joann's and they had the 8" too but they were in a strange spot. I don't know what is up.

Your finish is wonderful Jill. Good for you for making something for yourself!

And I know what you mean about the scissors - one store near me didn't have any, one store just had the large ones and one store just had the smaller ones. I took off with a pair of the smaller ones and thanked my lucky stars I got a pair.

and at our Joann's they had the big ones and no little ones! :) But their rotary scissors with the same name were a complete different pattern, and so was the needle threader. Same shade of purple, but completely different flowers!
