For the Love of Needlework

I participated in an exchange on the Friends Through Threads blog. It was called "For the Love of Needlework". We were to make a needlecase using some form of needlework. Nic posted today that she received it, whew! It was Nic I sent an exchange to last fall and she never got it. After about 4 months, it came back to me! Oh well, anyway...

I started with Lizzie Kate's "August Stamp Flip-It" pattern, changing the word August to Needles.

It is stitched on 28ct. Light Mocha Cashel linen with DMC Variations and DMC floss. I also sent her a Shepherds Bush kit, but forgot to take a picture of it. You can see it on Nic's blog.

Thanks for visiting and thanks for all the wonderful comments.

Oooo, pretty. Must be that it took so long because the post office just wasn't sure if you were in your right mind to part with it. :)
