A New Start and a Frog

With a couple of my friends that I stitch with on Friday nights, we started the Cat's Whiskers chairs. We are going to stitch the Peacock and Garden Chairs over the summer on Friday nights and finish them together some weekend in October.

We started with the Peacock chair. Here is my progress after 2 weeks.

If you read "Stitching Squad", my friend, Joan's blog, you probably saw all of the flower frogs she collected last weekend. On Friday, she let me buy one from her.

YAY! I was excited. I have wanted one of these for some time now. The scissor I have in it here, are mostly ones that I just acquired in the last couple of months. I'm sure some people wonder just how many scissors does one need, I know my son wonders this everytime I get a new one. Apparently, I just can't ever have enough!

Great progress in the chair, love the colors. And your frog is great, just the kind of frog every stitcher would love to have hanging around. CJ ok;-)

I love these chairs, they are very cute. I admire you working on this, as I think you need really great finishing skills.

I still maintain that there are never too many scissors!

Oh my, what a great new project you chose. I love these little chairs but I'm not sure if I could do this sort of finishing.
