And under the brown wrapping, was this.
Then under the pretty pink wrappings was this.
Inside this red box, was this.
Then, I started unwrapping the little packages. First was this.
5 porcelain thimbles of different flowers, of course, for summer. They are just beautiful and what a great addition to my thimble collection.
Then in another package, was a biscornu, a pinkeep and a needlebook. All with a ladybug theme. They are very beautifully stitched and finished. The stitching on the needlebook is very detailed. Then in the last package, was a pillow. Again, perfectly stitched and finished. If you look close at the pillow, right above the flower are 3 rose pins. These were Lynn's first attempt with Fimo clay. They, too, are beautifully done.
Lynn said in her note that she hoped this exchange would bring a smile to my face after losing my friend. She did. I can't thank you enough. I truly love it all!
For Lynn, I stitched "Cherubin" by Pelin Tezer. It is stitched on 32ct. dirty linen with DMC Variations #4170 and DMC #B5200 and is finished as a needlebook.
Here is the outside of it.
Here is a picture of the entire exchange.
This was a very fun exchange.
Thank you so much Lynn!
