The design I stitched was from the September 2008 issue of the Gift of Stitching. It is stitched on banding with DMC Variegated #115.
Here is the front after I took it to the post office.
I have made several different pieces of mailart lately and just love them. This was a fun exchange. Can't wait until I receive mine.

This is a lovely envelope, perfectly finished. I always used some kind of banding when I was stitching mailart, it's so easy to assemble and looks wonderful when finished.
