My Halloween Exchange Finally Received

I recently participated in the Halloween Exchange on the HoE. My exchange partner, Nic, lives in the UK. I sent my exchange early, September 15th, so it would get there in plenty of time for Halloween. Well, it never arrived. I decided last Friday (Halloween) to put another one together. I scrambled around town searching for Halloween stuff and did have some luck. On Sunday, I took this package to the post office at the Mpls/St. Paul airport. It was received today by Nic. Thank God!

The design I stitched for her is a Heart in Hand called "Pumpkins Galore". It is stitched on 32ct antique white Belfast with DMC Floss, DMC Variations and WDW.

Like I mentioned earlier, I was able to gather some goodies to send also.

I thank Nic for her patience and am glad that she liked her package. Its just too bad that it didn't arrive in time for Halloween.

Yesterday in the mail I received my Christmas Fair Squares from Julianne. They are just beautiful and perfect. The front is a Bent Creek design called "Glad Tidings". The back is a combination of designs, Bent Creek "Redbird Sampler" and The Cricket Collection "Christmas Wish". I love the bird, which is a cardinal to me.

Thank you Julianne!

When a thing like that happens I often wonder where the package ends up.

I really like what you again stitched for her, very cute. And those squares also, darling.

I am still deciding what to do with my squares I got for the 4the of July round.
Take Care

It's a terrible shame that your first exchange went missing. I'm sure you're incredibly relieved the second one made it! The halloween exchange is wonderful, great job Jill! Your F&S are very pretty too, enjoy :)
