A Birthday Surprise for Carol S.

Along with being a stitching addict, I am a sports addict also. I don't have many stitching friends that I can talk sports with. However, I found one in Carol. Her and I have talked sports quite a bit.

2 weeks ago, when I was reorganizing, I unearthed a pattern book of major league baseball team logos. One of them was the Boston Red Sox. I immediately thought of Carol, as she is an avid fan of them. Then last Friday, I read on her blog that the week coming up is her birthday week. I couldn't resist. Here is what I created for her.

Yup, I stitched her a floss tag with the Boston Red Sox logo on it. I just love how it turned out, especially how I incorporated the heart shaped eyelet into the design.

Happy Birthday Carol and thanks for all your work on the HoE.

Even someone who prefers the Yankees to the Red Sox can appreciate that floss tag! Including the heart was just too cute - I bet Carol just LOVES it.

Jill, that Red Sox floss tag is brilliant! lol Too cute -- especially the heart gromet.

Thank you so much for honoring me with a Kreativ Blogger award. I'm certain I don't deserv it, but I am truly honored!
