It's always a great day when you come home from work and there is a package in the mail for you. But when there are 2 packages, WOW!
First, I received my SBEBB Garden Exchange from Mylene, who lives in the Netherlands, and who I happened to have for the HOE Pinkeep Exchange. Mylene stitched me "Garden Pleasures" from Little House Needleworks. It is so beautiful. It's almost as if she knew I wanted this!
Mylene also sent me some beautiful ribbons, purple, of course, a pattern, "Garden Girl" a Country Cottage Kids by Country Cottage Needleworks and a package of beautiful buttons. She also sent me a postcard with pictures of the island where she lives. It looks very nice and warm there. It was still snowing here yesterday afternoon.
Thank you Mylene for a great exchange! I love all of it!
The other package I received today was my Fair and Squares Round #6. Tuula from Finland was my partner.
I had to take a picture of the envelope, it is so beautiful. I've never seen anything like it before.
Tuula's square is a small part from Long Dog Samplers "Virtue", stitched with DMC threads. She knew I liked peacocks so choosing the design wasn't to difficult. I have always admired the way Tuula stitches her name and now I have one of my own.
Tuula also sent me some wonderful goodies. It is kind of funny that Tuula and myself got paired up. We like the same kind of things. In fact, Tuula said that when she was reading my blog, she kept thinking she was reading about herself. One thing is that we both collect thimbles. She sent me a thimble that is genuine reindeer bone from Lapland. She also sent my a keyring made of tiny Lapland trees, some banding and 2 skeins of different fibers.
Thank you Tuula! I love it all!

Beautiful exchanges! Congratulations Jill!
What fun you had opening your mail! Love the exchanges :)
I am so happy to hear you like the exchange i've sent. I've really enjoyed stitching and do love that design too i might stitch it for myself someday.
Wonderful exchanges...The pinkeep is adorable and I just luv Tuula's peacock!
Isn't it funny how exchanges seem to follow each other in the mail, nothing for ages then whole flocks at once!
This is really funny coincidence because Tuula stitched this one for you while she had cross stitcher´s weekend at her cottage in Lapland. During same weekend I started to stitch Garden exchange for my partner !! Peacock is gorgeous !!
